How to remove candle wax and reuse your candle container

Re-use Recycle!  How to clean out left over wax & reuse your candle container.

Many candle containers have been designed to be reused and not thrown away, adding value to your purchase. Follow these simple instructions to remove left over wax and repurpose your candle jar!

  1. Place the jar or candle holder in the freezer for 2-3 hours.

  2. Remove from the freezer - Use a butter knife to pop the wax out. It should easily break up in large pieces.

  3. Remove the metal wicks at the base of the jar.

  4. Wash the vessel with warm soapy water to remove any remaining wax.

  5. Wipe with a dishcloth to make the vessel completely  clean
